Before Ben was born I read that there are two types of babies- those that like bouncers and those that like swings. We were fortunate to be gifted with both. Ben had preferences though. Ben was a bouncer baby. He eventually came around to the swing a bit, but the bouncer was a no-fail soother. It was so good I bought one to have at the office too. There were times when I worried he was in the bouncer too often, but he just loved it so much. Of course now I know my worries were for naught, as he is just fine.
As he got bigger, the bouncer got closer and closer to the ground. We had been able to pull the bouncer out in times of emergency (extreme fussiness and refusal to sleep!), but now he is just too big. The office bouncer is still here because we haven’t had a a chance to pack it up. The other day Ben was looking at it, so I pulled it out for one last bounce. He had fun, but sadly it is time to pack up the bouncer.
He used to fit in this!
Not as roomy as I remember…
Oh the memories though
We had some good times, didn’t we?
Stop growing up so fast, Ben!!
