Sleep, one of my favorite things. This week the ladies of the BFBN are attacking all sorts of sleep issues. Yesterday was all about helping toddlers and preschoolers through their sleep problems. Today we have more sleep information. Have you ever wondered how to help your baby learn to sleep? How exactly do you go about dropping naps? These seem like simple questions but when you are in the baby zone they can be challenging. Fortunately today we have two great posts to help with your baby’s sleep needs.
Start From Birth
First up is Caitlin from Twin Mom and More. Twin moms know the importance of starting good sleep habits off right. All moms lose sleep with one baby, two, well, we don’t want that. The key is to start right away. Seriously, from the start work on those good sleep habits. But how exactly do you do that? Caitlin has 7 great tips to help you out. Check out her post: 7 Ways to Establish Good Sleep Habits from Birth.
Dropping To One Nap
Once you’ve established good habits it’s time to start dropping naps. I know, kind of annoying. But trust me, only having one nap a day is so freeing! Natasha from Let’s Be Brave has all the information you need, from signs of readiness to how to actually go about dropping the morning nap. Check out her post: How To Drop to One Nap.
Don’t forget we are working on sleep all week. I don’t think I realized how important sleep was until I wasn’t getting enough. These tips will help your whole family be healthier and happier. Here is the schedule for the week!
Tuesday: Twin Mom and More
Tuesday: Let’s Be Brave
