Every so often Ben decides to have a leisurely meal. Of course this never seems to happen when we have nothing to do and I too would like to just relax and eat slowly. It’s always when I am thinking of the laundry I need to fold, the clients I need to email, the plans I need to make. But sitting with Ben while he eats is always fun. He smiles and enjoys his food. He makes meal time fun. I think he is trying to teach me to slow down and enjoy the time we have together to just be together. He is teaching me so much.
