Anyone who has a cat knows how they can react to closed doors. Quite often you shut a door, and a few moments later you will see a little paw reaching underneath it. If you have a cat on each side of the door, they will paw at each other in a little game of tag. In the mornings I get Ben ready in his room. I close the door because his doorway is very close to the stairs and I don’t want him crawling out. Today he noticed that Dagger was on the other side of the door. He laid down on the floor and reached under to play with her. They played tag through the door while I picked out Ben’s outfit for the day. It was super cute. And it made me think that people who believe having a pet is similar to having a kid aren’t that far off sometimes. 😉
