As I stated before, I really enjoy where we are currently living. A great part of where we are is that there is a little park across the street. I was pregnant with Ben when we moved in here, so we were hoping we would be able to have some fun times playing with him there. We had visited the park once before all the snow came. I can barely remember when that was. 😉 But it was a long time ago. Ben was little enough to be asleep in his Infantino the whole time we were there. Well, today was a perfect day to visit the park.
After an awesome day at the office, where things kept going right, Ben and I decided to see if Pat wanted to visit the park when we got home. Okay, so really I told Pat we were going to the park, but close enough. Ben had a great day with good naps and good play time. He was a happy little guy. In fact, his afternoon nap was two and half hours! Woot!! He was rested and feeling good. Plus it was fifty degrees here. Heat wave, right? With daylight savings it was sunny. Dinner was leftovers, so that was ready to go. Everything added up to park time. So Ben and I got home, got Pat, and headed across the road.
Now that Ben can sit up on his own, so he was able to go on the swings! I love swings. I think I might have had more fun watching him swing than he did swinging. Overall he enjoyed himself though. Ben got to swing, then we went down the slide. Pat helped Ben go down the slide ‘on his own’ too. We walked around the playground and showed Ben all the equipment. He won’t be able to play with most of it for awhile still. It was so nice to be able to spend some fun time outside as a family. You can see the videos of Ben swinging and playing on the slide here, here, and here.
